How to sound more German

Have you reached a decent level in your German, but you would still like to improve it to sound more native? Here are a few tips:

1. - er endings: Der Hammer ( the hammer). My native German accent is Westphalian. I speak the " er" like " Dare Hammoh"

2. -ie sounds: say them in the middle of a word like " ee". ( as one single sound)

3. say them at the end of a word as " ee-uh" . So "family" in German is " fah-mee-lee-uh:

4. - " z" : speak a little "t"in front. So, " zebra" in German is " Tse-brah"
